The Scholarship Programme begins!

Both Dominican Universities (UNAPEC & UASD) received Haitian Students in order to finalize their degree.

In the framework of the internationalization activities run by the EUCANET project, the Scholarship Programme is taking place and 7 students from the Haitian HEI’s that belongs to the project consortium (ESIH & UEH) arrived to Santo Domingo with the main purpose of finalizing their degrees.

Their stay will last until December 2011 and they will participate in an international mobility programme at UNAPEC & UASD.

This experience will help them to partially solve and soothe the impact that the earthquake brought to the Haitian Universities the 12th January 2010.

Besides of the scholarships awarded by both Dominican Universities (UNAPEC & UASD), the stay of the Haitian students will be funded by EUCANET project.

At UNAPEC:

• Donald LORIUS, from UEH Degree in Tourist and Hotel Administration
• Erick Junior QUETTANT, from UEH Degree in Tourist and Hotel Administration
• Ewenson Simon MÉDÉE, from UEH Degree in Tourist and Hotel Administration
• Elizabethe BUISSON, from ESIH Degree in Tourist and Hotel Administration
• Silviory DUBUISSON, from ESIH Degree in Engineering of Information systems

 

At UASD:

• Sheldène Stanley FRANCISQUE, from UEH Degree Business Management
• Roberto Junior LÉNÉUS, from UEH Degree Business Management

 

The 7 Haitian students will have the chance to maximize the opportunity to improve their field of study as well as their knowledge of the Spanish language.
