The main goal of EUCANET is to increase institutional capacity at the Caribbean universities in the field of international relations by exchanging know-how, managerial skills and experiences on the management of international relations offices (IRO).

And the specific objectives are: 

• to modernise IRO by proposing management improvement measures and initiate strategic management processes at international relations level;
• to facilitate mobility of students and researchers and the international dimension of higher education via improving the services of the IRO;
• to establish the first university network at the Caribbean region that will serve as a boosting mechanism to raise the region academic and scientific profile internationally.
